For a generation of children who know only of FarmVille, FarmGuru presents the opportunity to experience a farm in all its rustic glory. A trip to the farm is all it takes to live the farm life, albeit for a day. The open expanse, fresh air with the smell of the soil, the beauty of lush green paddy fields and the songs from the birds on the trees, will transport them to the world they would only have read about, or seen on television to experience what organic farming is, and how important it is for our sustenance.

Farm Guru is only 25 Kms away from Chennai and can be reached in less then an hour by road. On the Grand Northern Trunk Road, shortly after the toll plaza at Redhills, the farm is located in Athur Village near Karanodai, just a couple of Kms off the highway.

Neat classrooms, modern teaching aids, and clean toilets-in both Indian and western styles, complement the rustic charm of the farm. Our guests get to learn new things while staying in the comfort zone they are used to.

Constant supervision by our instructors and the watchful eyes of our even more experienced farmhands will keep our young guests out of harm’s way, no matter what the mischief they can think up.
