A green smoothie is a great way to pack in leafy greens into your diet. You can improve the nutritional value of any smoothie recipe by blending in a handful or two of your favourite greens. Experiment with the type of greens — milder tasting ones like spinach won’t affect the taste of your beverage, while some others can lend interesting astringent, grassy or spicy notes.
